Fakoustic Solo
Guitar Mikey has been performing in front of audiences since age 11 and fronting his own blues bands since age 16.
In 1985 he formed Guitar Mikey and The Real Thing which has been through 4 basic line-ups covering Canada, Chicago, Boston and now Clarksdale, MS.
On occasion Mikey has also been known to put on quite the show as a solo performer.

Mark Yacovone is one of the most creative keyboard soloists today.
The energy that is produced between he and Guitar Mikey during performance of The Real Thing is something that is constantly talked about.
Mark Yacovone joined The Real Thing in 2003 while Mikey and he were both living in the Boston area.
Together they have relocated to the heart of where blues and roots music began to continue performing together.
Now Mac and Yac are doubling their impact by performing together as a duo.
